My life right now
Boy has my life changed since I last blogged. I no longer have a husband. Or rather I'm still married but he lives at his mom's. And now I need to figure out my life without him! I want him back more than anything. I would do anything. Except be walked on. He says he left me because he wasn't in love with me anymore. It felt like a ton of bricks fell out of the sky and landed on me. I am still sifting through the rubble. He says he fell out of love with me because he couldn't depend on me. I don't know why. I know I don't clean house like I should but hell now I'm so damn busy I'm lucky if I get a bath every night. I didn't always pay our bills on time, but that was because of our money situation. I personally think he wants someone else. A bitch named Brandy. Anyway enough of my pity dump. I'm gonna do my homework and hope school goes well tomorrow. Night all!!

Long time no blog
Man it has been awhile since I was on. Not too much has been going on. Megan LOVES school. I am still writing.....some. I am working on a story called 'Oh Brother'. I haven't submitted anything in a long while. I am thinking of submitting the first part of 'Oh Brother' that was intended for a short story. Anyway there are two versions and I don't know which one to pick. They are the same story from different point of veiws and they both still need work.
Here is the first 1:
Oh Brother
(Sara’s P.O.V)
By: Tiffanie Monroe
Lizzie and Luke were having an end – of – school year get together at their house. The good thing about that in Sara’s opinion was that only Luke, herself, Lizzie and John would be there.
The night started out great. They decided to just veg out and watch movies.
“I’m bored. Let’s do something fun,” John said. “Let’s turn up the music!” He walked to the stereo and put on a Five Finger Death Punch CD. The girls rolled their eyes, and the guys started slam dancing.
“Come on! Ya’ll are just sitting there like bumps on a log. Get up and dance.” John smiled down at the girls.
Sara and Lizzie giggled at the boys’ antics as they tried to out – goof each other. About fifteen minutes later the guys fell exhausted, onto the couch. Luke landed on Sara and gave her a big smile. She felt her heart stop. They grew up together so it wasn’t the first time he had smiled at her, but somehow this one was different. Oh God. I’m falling in love with my best friend’s brother.
Later, after everyone had gone to bed, Sara had trouble falling asleep. She went to Lizzie’s window to look out. She kept thinking of the smile Luke gave her and why it had effected her the way it had. She fell asleep at dawn only to dream of Luke.
The next day Lizzie and Sara went to the mall to do some shopping. Lizzie kept throwing Sara speculative looks but kept quiet. Sara was debating on whether she should say anything to her or not. She needed to talk to someone and who better than her best friend and who worse than his sister?
“Let’s go grab something to eat from Steak Escape.” Sara put down the picture frame she was looking at.
She decided to tell Lizzie because she needed someone to talk to. She waited until they got their hoagies to start. “Last night after the guys finished dancing, Luke smiled at me.”
“It’s not the first time-.”
“I know it’s not. This time it was different. Like brighter somehow. I swear it made my heart stop.” Sara had a sappy, lovey, gooey look on her face.
“First Eww! My brother? Second Yay! I’m happy for you. Are you gonna tell him?”
“I don’t know. What do you think?” They both got up to throw away their trash. “What if he thinks I’m stupid or worse just like a little sister to him?”
“Let’s go find a cute top that’ll bring out the green in your eyes and then work out what you should say to him.”
After they finished shopping, Sara wanted to go get ice cream, but decided not to press her luck since her stomach was full of butterflies. “Are you sure I should tell him? What if he doesn’t like me?”
“Remember when I was crushing on John? You’re the one who talked me into telling him. I was scared too, but we probably wouldn’t be together if I hadn’t talked to him.” Lizzie opened the driver’s side door and got inside.
“You didn’t talk to him. You cornered him at a party and yelled at him.”
“Whatever. It worked.” She stared the car backed out of the parking lot and headed home.
“So I should just come right out and tell him? Are you sure?” Sara said as they turned on to Lizzie’s street. “Is that Claire’s car in your driveway?”
They got out of the car and headed inside. As they walked through the door they heard Claire’s laugh and followed it into the living room where they saw Luke on the floor with Claire, the head cheerleader, sitting on top of him.
Sara froze.
“I, umm… I gotta go clean out the umm stove.” Sara turned and bolted out of the house.
After she got home, she went to her room and curled up in bed. She stayed there weeping for about two hours, ignoring her cell phone every time it rang. Finally she got up, washed her face called Lizzie back, and told her she was fine, ate supper with her mom and dad, came back upstairs, and took a shower.
How could I have made such a mistake? How can I compete with someone like Claire? I’m a short brunette with green eyes and she’s tall, blonde, blue eyed and perfect.
A week later, Sara was reading Twilight when her cell rang. “Hey Lizzie, I’m with Edward, this better be important”
“Me and John just got into a fight and I was wondering if you wanted to come over and watch a movie with me tonight?”
“I don’t know.”
“I need a distraction to take my mind off of him. Please?”
“Ok. I’ll be there in a little while.”
Sara picked out her cutest outfit. Luke was probably there and she wanted to look her best. Without looking like she was trying.
As she pulled up the driveway, she wondered if maybe she should just turn around and go home. Sara got out of the car and slowly walked to the door, took a deep breath and knocked on the door. She almost had it knocked out of her when Luke was the one who answered the door.
She walked in and noticed the smell of flowers. A lot of flowers. That’s weird. Lizzie came downstairs gave Sara an innocent look and headed towards the living room. Sara walked past Luke joined Lizzie on the couch. Luke put on the movie I am Legend and sat on a chair. After about ten minutes, Lizzie jumped up and said, “We’re out of cokes. I’ll run to the store and get some more.”
“I’ll go.” Sara stood up.
“No that’s ok. I’ll just run and get em. It won’t take long.” Lizzie all but ran out the door, shutting it before Sara could blink.
Sara sat back down, looking over at Luke. Then she glanced down, picking at the hem of her shorts. “Where’s Claire tonight?” Luke moved over to the couch.
“Probably out with her boyfriend.” Luke popped off, causally slinging his arm on the back of the sofa behind her.
Now she looked confused. “I thought you and her where…”
“Sara,” Luke said softly, “I’m not dating her. We’re just friends. I’ve known her since the summer Mom insisted I take ballet to ‘make me more graceful’. She was the only kid that didn’t make fun of me, and we’ve been friends ever since. She’s way to much of a girly-girl for me.” He said in one breath so she couldn’t interrupt.
She looked at him and he smiled at her. She relaxed a little bit, until she saw a wicked gleam come into his eyes. Luke reached over and started poking her in the side, so she slapped his hand away. He grabbed her hand with one of his and leaned towards her as she scooted away, trying not to get held down and tickled. They started to wrestle and fell to the floor laughing like goons. Neither one heard the front door open. Lizzie walked in, saw them on the floor, and decided she could watch the movie later. She tiptoed upstairs to call John and tell him all was going as planned.
Sara got Luke pinned and smiled down at him. She looked into his deep brown eyes as he leaned up. He smirked, and then flipped her onto her back. She could feel his heart beating against hers as he leaned down and lightly touched his lips to hers. She closed her eyes; slide her hands up his arms until the twined around his neck, as she deepened the kiss.
And here is the 2nd one:
Oh Brother
(Luke’s P.O.V.)

When Lizzie, Luke’s little sister, had brought up the idea of an end-of-school get together, it had sounded great to Luke. Sara would be there. Sara was Lizzie’s childhood best friend, and had always been like another sister to him. He had pulled her hair; put bugs down her shirt. Lately though, he hadn’t been feeling… brotherly… about her.
He just didn’t know how to get her to notice him.
The evening started out good. There were four of them: Luke, his sister Lizzie, her boyfriend John, and Sara. They decided to just veg out and watch movie.
“I’m bored. Let’s do something fun,” John said. “Let’s turn up the music!” He walked to the stereo and put on a Five Finger Death Punch CD. The girls rolled their eyes, and the guys started slam dancing.
“Come on! Ya’ll are just sitting there like knots on a log. Get up and dance.” John said to the girls.
Sara and Lizzie just laughed at them, giggling at their antics as they tried to out goof each other. About fifteen minutes later the guys fell exhausted, onto the couch. Luke landed on Sara and his heart started to race. He turned towards her, noticing her dimples as she laughed. He smiled, thinking he had never know how cute dimples could be. He thought he saw something flicker in her eyes but before he could figure out what it was, she pushed him off the couch laughing and telling him to watch where he sat.
Later that night after everyone had gone to bed, Luke stayed awake lost in thought. Could she possibly feel the same way? What emotion flickered through her eyes? Should he ask her out? If he did would she smack him or even worse, laugh at him? What if she only thought of him as a brother?
The next day Lizzie and Sara left to go to the mall. Luke decided he needed a female perspective so he called his friend Claire. About ten minutes she pulled up in her new mustang.
“This better be important enough to interrupt my beauty sleep,” she said jokingly as she gave him a hug and then brushed her honey blonde hair out of her face. “This is about Sara right? I see the way you look at her,” she said before he could butt in. I noticed last week at the pep rally.”
“A few months ago she was just a friend of Lizzie’s. Now I can’t stop thinking about her. I’ve known her forever. What if she laughs at me Claire? What about Lizzie? She might get mad. She hates all my girlfriends.” He sighed as they turned to walk into the house.
“Have you talked to her? It couldn’t hurt.” They sat on the couch and started watching TV. “Maybe you should try asking her to the movies or to go mini golfing.”
“Yeah but what if I ruin our friendship? What about Lizzie and her’s? They’ve been friends since like birth.”
“Well you will never know unless you talk to her.”
“I don’t know. Let’s watch a little tv while I think about what to say. You can be my official speech tryer-outer.”
They were watching some animal show and Luke started flipping through the channels. He stopped on an MMA match mostly to aggravate Claire because she hated them. She tried to grab the remote and he moved it out of her reach taunting her. Soon they were wrestling around on the floor. Just as Claire grabbed the remote and sat back hard on his stomach they heard the door open and in walked Sara and Lizzie.
Luke saw Sara stop and a look of pain came into her eyes briefly. “I, umm… I gotta go clean out the umm stove.” Sara said and ran out of the house.
“Did I do something to her?” Asked Luke.
“No,” replied Lizzie. “She just has a lot on her mind.”
“Hey Luke I need to go. I hope you figure out that thing.” Claire grabbed her purse, wondering how her buddy was going to get out of this one.
Luke and Lizzie sat in silence while a rerun of House played in the background. Luke noticed Lizzie’s hostel stare, but didn’t know why she was mad.
Was Sara sick? She left without even saying goodbye?” Luke asked.
“It’s because your girlfriend was here! You could have at least told us you had one!”
He was a little confused. “Umm, I don’t have a girlfriend. Claire just stopped by because I called her and told her I needed some advice. Look, um, I need to tell you something, and if you get mad I’ll totally understand.” He let a big sigh. “I think I like Sara.” He waited, hoping he wasn’t about to experience on of Lizzie’s world class tantrums. Instead she just started laughing. Then she kept on laughing.
“Gee thanks. Way to make a guy feel good.”
Lizzie caught her breath, still chuckling. “No goofy, I wasn’t laughing at you. I can’t explain. It’s girl stuff. Look, if you like Sara, that’s fine with me. But we need to do something about it since she thinks you and Claire are together. You are gonna need to get her alone with you.”
We can have another movie night and you can leave to get ice or sodas.” Luke suggested.
“Great, you two get together and I get ran out of the house!”
A few days later, Luke nervously ran his fingers through jis hair while they waited for Sara to get there. He heard a knock on the door and started walking down the hallway into the living room that Lizzie had filled with flowers. Something about the romance, she’d said.
Whatever helps.
They all sat on the couch and started the movie I am Legend. After the first ten minutes of the movie, Lizzie jumped up and said, “We’re out of Cokes. I’ll run to the store and get some.”
“Oh I’ll go,” Sara said.
“Uh, no, that’s ok. I’ll just run and get em. It won’t take long.” Lizzie said as she all but ran out of the door, shutting it before Sara could blink.
Sara looks nervous. Good, I’m not alone. Luke wiped his sweaty hands on his jeans.
Sara sat back down, looking over at Luke. She glanced down picking at the hem of her shorts. “Where’s Claire tonight?”
Probably out with her boyfriend.” Luke popped off casually, slinging his arm on the back of the sofa behind her.

Sara finally got Luke pinned and smiled smugly down at him. She looked into his eyes as he leaned forward. He smirked, then flipped her onto her back. His heart was pounding so loud he could hear it. He leaned down and lightly touched his lips to hers, shocked at hard the light kiss rocked him. He watched her close her eyes and felt her hands slide up his arms. He decided to take a chance and deepened the kiss.
Like I said basically the same story just told from different povs. Which one do YOU like? Please let me know. Thanks ~Tiff

School
So far Meg seems to like school. I asked her yesterday(her 1at day) and she said it was GREAT! Of course the crankier she got the less thrilled she was. By bed time she was whining cause she didn't get to dance. Today seemed to go good to. Oh yeah when we took her to her class the first day I figured you know she might be a little upset when she realized momma and daddy didn't get to stay. I was WRONG! She didn't push us out the door or anything but she didn't mind that we were leaving :( :( :( That's all for now Nighty night all!

More HP...excitment mounting :)
I am reading the 6th installment of Harry Potter for like the 10th time since we are going to see it on Tuesday. I got mine the same day that Ally got one for Alex. I decided to bet Alex a dollar that I could finish the book before he did. Never make a bet with an 8 year old who has more time on their hands than you do! When I talked to his momma yesterday I asked what page he was on and she said he was like on page 300 and something and was saying how if he would spend more time reading he would finish faster.
